LOS ANGELES—Lee Kum Kee, the brand leader
of authentic Chinese sauces, has introduced a line of gourmet sauces in
convenient, single-serve foil packs for the U.S. market. Lee Kum Kee Ready
Sauces will launch in July with six popular flavours. Martin Yan, best known to
television viewers worldwide as the host of the acclaimed Yan Can Cook show,
has signed with the company to be the spokesperson for the sauces.

Lee Kum Kee Ready Sauces are packaged in
compact 8oz. foil pouches that are disposable and easy to tear open, leaving no
mess. Each pouch makes 4 servings, enough for the whole family, or delicious
leftovers the next day. It requires no mixing or additional ingredients. Simply
add to meat, poultry, seafood, or produce, and serve. It is available in the
following popular flavours: Broccoli Beef, Mu Shu Chicken, Chinese Chicken
Salad, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and Mandarin Orange Chicken. Families

homes within minutes.

easy to prepare ethnic product sales increased 41% between 1996 and 2001. Ready
